WILD EQUIPMENT CAUGHT ON FIRE

The Minnesota Wild equipment van gotcaught on fire outside the scotiablank place in Ottawa. The fire began at around 2:30 Pm. Firefighters rushed to the scene and were there for about 40 minutes. Reports say there were no injuries. Police are still investigating the cause of the fire, they say that most of the equipment has been destroyed.

How the hell are they gonna play!?

Goaltender Niklas Backstrom's equipment has been destroyed, every single piece of it! The Wild are talking with the NHL management to figure out their options. The only choice they have is to purchase all brand new equipment! However, some of the equipment was special, Eric Belanger wore a special foot brace that he needs in order to play, It'll be interesting to see what his situation is come tomorrow's game.

ZETTERBERG OUT FOR 2 WEEKS

The Detroit Red Wings star forward Henrik Zetterberg will be out for a minimum of 2 weeks due to a shoulder seperation during the Red Wings 3-0 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday. Zetterberg got injured during the 1st period after a collision with Mattias Ohlund. He left the game and did not return.

Zetterberg has 10 goals, 22 assists in 34 games this season, the most points on his team.
