Ottawa Senators forward Jason Spezza is due to miss up to 8 weeks of hockey!!!! Spezza suffered a severe knee injury Monday night when the Senators lost to the Maple Leafs 3-2. Spezza underwent an MRI on Tuesday. Maple Leafs forward Lee Stempniak appeared to roll over Spezza's knee off a faceoff late in the game. The sens forward immideately left for the dressing room.
This could be a huge loss or a huge chance for somebody else to step up in Ottawa.
